Aotai ADV flowmeter helps save water in agriculture in mountainous areas of Fujian Province

The Ministry of Agriculture of China has proposed that China is one of the countries in the world with a shortage of water resources, and severe droughts and water shortages are restricting agricultural development. The Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council attach great importance to agricultural water-saving work and always emphasize that water-saving agriculture should be taken as a strategic measure. Since 2004, four consecutive No. 1 central document have emphasized the need to vigorously promote agricultural water-saving.
With the development of agricultural water-saving work, water-saving projects in various regions are also being carried out in an orderly manner.

In underwater contact flow measurement technology, there are currently two main methods:
1. Frequency difference method
Mainly utilizing the underwater acoustic Doppler effect (the deviation between the received reflection frequency and the transmission frequency) for velocity observation.

Such as ADV, ADCP, HADCP, etc.
The radar surface wave current measurement method can also be classified in this application.

2. Time difference method
The speed observation is mainly carried out by using the changes in the forward and backward sound velocities of underwater sound waves (the sound propagation speed increases in forward flow and slows down in backward flow).
For example, conventional time difference flow meters can also be broadly applied to the classification of ATV acoustic tomography inversion observation equipment.
3. Positional difference method
The main method used is underwater echolocation, which changes the position of the reflector per unit time to observe velocity. The methods can include: cross-correlation inversion of voiceprint within a unit time and image recognition after acoustic imaging.
At present, this method is also under research, and the experience of acoustic tomography inversion observation is extended to this method.
