    Measurement principle

    The product measures pressure by leveraging the piezoresistive effect of diffused silicon—specifically, a Wheatstone bridge fabricated on a single-crystal silicon wafer using photolithography and diffusion techniques along a defined crystal orientation. By incorporating laser trimming and computer‑based compensation algorithms, its temperature performance has been significantly optimized. Moreover, sensors have rapidly evolved from analog to digital designs, resulting in improved overall stability and reliability.

    The transmission cable incorporates an internal gas conduit that delivers atmospheric pressure to the front-end sensor’s voltage‑multiplier chamber, thereby compensating for atmospheric pressure variations.
