    Measurement principle

    In applications such as underground manhole water-level remote sensing, the product’s non‑contact ultrasonic ranging capability enables accurate water-level measurement and performs well under conditions involving water quality, impurities, and floating debris. When deploying the device, it is important to account for the issue of the sensor entering its ultrasonic blind zone at high water levels.

    The host unit is equipped with an expansion bolt kit, enabling rapid installation at the wellhead.

    The host features an ABS housing.

    Fully potting‑sealed design, offering excellent waterproof performance;

    Independent battery compartment assembly—simply pop it off, plug it in, and hang it to replace the battery.

    Low self-discharge batteries enable devices to achieve longer battery life.

    Features: AUTEC’s long‑, medium‑, and short‑wave parameters can be set independently, enabling compatibility with a wide range of operating conditions; the ultrasonic transmission energy is adaptively adjusted based on the echo’s signal strength.

    Built-in artificial sound speed correction function;

    Application scenarios

    Measurement of manhole water levels, river channel water levels, and canal water levels is carried out under conditions where external power supply is unavailable—for example, when connection to the municipal grid or a solar‑powered system is not feasible. Data are transmitted wirelessly to a server.

    This Q‑type, cost‑effective telemetry terminal boasts broad compatibility, seamlessly integrating with single‑static‑pressure, single‑radar, static‑pressure–ultrasonic composite, and static‑pressure–radar composite water level sensors. It is also compatible with other low‑power digital sensors, enabling flexible fulfillment of diverse, low‑cost monitoring requirements.
