    Measurement principle

    The product employs Faraday’s law of electromagnetic induction to measure the flow rate of conductive liquids or two-phase media. It can typically handle media with a conductivity greater than 20 μS/cm (tap water usually falls within the range of 50–500 μS/cm). A pair of sensing electrodes is mounted on the pipe wall, perpendicular to both the pipe axis and the magnetic field lines generated by the instrument’s coil. As the conductive medium flows, the electrodes detect changes in the induced electromotive force, which is directly proportional to the fluid velocity, thereby enabling measurement of the pipeline flow rate.

    Application scenarios

    It is suitable for measuring the flow rate of conductive liquids in industrial settings and, with the addition of wireless communication capabilities, is also widely used in municipal and water‑supply applications.
