I. Measurement Principle
The front-end controller of this product is based on Temperature-sensing cable As a sensing element, leveraging the abrupt temperature‑sensing characteristics of the temperature‑sensitive cable within a specific temperature range, it continuously acquires temperature‑distribution data inside the cable trench to detect any abnormal or excessive temperature excursions. Simultaneously, a pressure sensor is employed to monitor the internal pressure of the fire‑extinguishing system in real time; by integrating these measurements with the trench‑temperature data, the system determines whether to activate the fire‑extinguishing device and transmits all monitoring parameters to the host unit.
After receiving all data uploaded by the front-end controllers, the host independently performs judgment and decision-making based on the preconfigured fire‑extinguishing control logic, then transmits interlock fire‑extinguishing commands to adjacent front-end controllers to execute coordinated extinguishing actions in synchronization, thereby ensuring the safety of on-site equipment. Meanwhile, the host outputs discrete signals via relays to activate audible and visual alarm devices, and all operational data are transmitted over the RS485 bus to the upper-level management server.

Equipped with a dedicated pressure sensor, with a measurement range of 0–1.6 MPa;
The front-end controller housing is made of ABS engineering plastic.

III. Application Scenarios
Substation and power facility cable trench scenarios Relying on high-precision over‑temperature detection and robust safety protection mechanisms, the system continuously monitors for abnormal temperature rises in cables. Upon detecting an overheating fault, it promptly triggers coordinated protective measures, mitigating the risk of cable fires and establishing a reliable safety barrier for cable trench areas, thereby ensuring the stable operation of power‑supply infrastructure.
Overheat Monitoring and Protection for Power Distribution Cabinets and Motor Control Centers Switchgear cabinets are core components of power systems, and overheating of internal components can easily trigger fire hazards. This product continuously monitors the temperature inside the cabinet, provides early warnings of overheating risks, and initiates appropriate protective actions, effectively preventing overheating‑related fires and ensuring the safe operation of both the cabinet itself and the surrounding electrical equipment.
