      AOCON conductivity meters have strong environmental adaptability, LCD display, simple operation, and excellent testing performance, making them highly cost-effective. It can be widely used for continuous monitoring of conductivity values in solutions such as thermal power, chemical fertilizers, metallurgy, environmental protection, pharmaceuticals, biochemistry, food, and tap water.

     

    The AOCON conductivity meter simplifies its functions while ensuring performance, thus having a particularly strong price advantage. A secondary meter equipped with electrodes with a constant of 1.0 or 10 can measure the conductivity of general liquids; Equipped with electrodes of 0.1 or 0.01, it can accurately measure the conductivity of pure water or ultrapure water, especially suitable for online continuous monitoring of the conductivity of high-purity water such as boiler feedwater and steam condensate in power plants.

     

    Selection of electrodes

     

    The key to accurate measurement is to select an electrode with an appropriate constant based on the range of conductivity of the tested water sample. Especially for the measurement of pure water (<3 μ S/cm) and ultrapure water (<1 μ S/cm), 0.1 or 0.01 electrodes should be used, and if necessary, a closed measuring tank should be added to achieve accurate measurement, otherwise significant errors will occur.

     

    Doppler flow meter brings you professional service,the basic principle for selecting electrodes: Based on the range of conductivity of the measured water sample, refer to the table below to choose the electrode with the appropriate constant. A common mistake when selecting electrodes is to choose electrodes with high constants to measure low conductivity. If a 1.0 electrode is selected to measure water samples with<3 μ S/cm, it is impossible to obtain accurate values. Due to the poor conductivity of low conductivity media, using high constant electrodes for measurement will only result in weaker and more unstable electrical signals, which will significantly increase measurement errors.

    Doppler FLOW METER brings you professional service,when measuring beyond the measurement range listed in the table above, the error will increase. When the conductivity value of the medium is greater than 100 μ S/cm, it is advisable to use a platinum black electrode with a constant of 1.0 or 10 for measurement to increase the effective area, significantly reduce the current density on the electrode surface, and effectively weaken the electrode polarization effect that is prone to occur when the medium is a concentrated solution.

     

    The electrode constant set in the instrument must be consistent with the constant marked on the electrode. If the electrode constant marked on the distribution pole is 0.102, then the electrode constant set in the instrument must be 0.102.

     

    2. If it is a flow-through installation, the outer diameter of the inlet and outlet pipes (three specifications: φ 8, φ 10, and φ 12), whether to use hoses or hard pipes, if not specified, will be equipped with a φ 10 hose connector.
