    • AOFT ultraviolet flame detector

    AOFT ultraviolet flame detector (referred to as the detector) is a non coding (relay output) photosensitive detector, suitable for installation in explosive gas environments containing Class IIC T6 temperature group, and used for fire detection that is prone to open flames in the event of a fire. This product has a reasonable structure, beautiful appearance, reliable performance, and easy installation. It is a highly reliable and anti-interference fire detection device.

     

    The UV flame sensor (185-260 nanometers) can quickly respond to UV radiation at the moment of fire and explosion ignition (but UV radiation sources such as lightning, arc welding, and positive sunlight radiation can cause false alarms in the UV detector). The high brightness LED of the detector can display the status of the detector, and its automatic testing function ensures that the detector can fully function at any time.

    1. Experiment: Each detector inlet is equipped with four external wires for testing the detector. Users should conduct an alarm test as soon as possible after opening the box. Connect the DC24V power cord to the DC24V power terminal of the detector (pay attention to distinguishing positive and negative polarities), and the other two wires are passive contacts. When there is no open flame within the detection range of the detector, the resistance between passive contacts is infinite. When there is an open flame within the detection range, the resistance between passive contacts is zero. Note: The four external wires of the product are only used for product inspection. When connecting the product to the system, the test wires should be removed and a universal cable with a cross-sectional area of S ≥ 1.0mm2 should be used for connection. Otherwise, the explosion-proof detector will lose its explosion-proof performance.

    2. Installation: Install the detector's mounting bracket on the wall, and then connect the explosion-proof casing to the mounting bracket Cable entry device: using a sealing nut to tighten the sealing ring structure.

     

    3. Wiring: Loosen the fixing screws of the detector, open the wiring chamber, and connect the cables to the wiring terminals separately. After connecting the wires, install the cover and body.

    Warning: Please wait until all detectors are installed before turning on the power.

     

    1. After the installation of the detector is completed or after each regular maintenance, it must be tested.

     

    2. Test content:

     

     

    Simulated fire alarm: After the detector is powered on, use a lit lighter, candle, or other ultraviolet radiation light source to approach the detector. The detector should report a fire alarm, and the fire alarm indicator light of the detector will light up, and the output contact will close.

     

    3. After the test is completed, reset the detector by cutting off the power and notify the relevant management department to restore the system to normal.

  • Main technical parameters

     

    ① Power supply: 24VDC;

     

    ② Flame sensing: When a flame is detected, the instrument operates normally;

     

    ③ Transmission output: 4~20mA, current type transmitter output load impedance:<300 Ω;

     

    ④ Communication output: with RS485 communication isolation interface;

     

    ⑤ Alarm output: equipped with one relay output, relay capacity: 0.5A/240V AC, resistive;

     

    ⑥ Alarm status output: During normal operation, output 4mA ± 1mA;

     

    When an alarm is triggered, output 12mA ± 1mA.
