Strengthening the Safety Defense Line: Practicing to Prepare and Prevent Fires Before They Start | Aotai Automation Actively Participates in the Park’s Fire Emergency Drill

To strengthen the primary responsibility for fire safety within the park, effectively enhance the emergency preparedness, fire‑escape capabilities, and initial fire‑response skills of all enterprises in the park, and verify the operational effectiveness of various fire‑protection systems, thereby building a robust fire‑safety barrier at the source, the park organized a comprehensive fire‑emergency drill on June 4. Aotai Automation Equipment Co., Ltd. mobilized its employees to actively participate in this realistic‑scenario exercise.
This drill featured a comprehensive program with tightly coordinated phases, encompassing five key components: emergency evacuation from a fire scene, public education on fire safety, hands-on demonstrations of firefighting equipment, practical fire extinguisher drills, and emergency response procedures for elevator entrapment. Upon the activation of the alarm, participating employees rigorously adhered to established fire‑evacuation protocols—bending low, covering their noses, and swiftly exiting along designated escape routes to the outdoor assembly area. Throughout the exercise, all actions were performed in strict accordance with standards, maintaining orderly conditions and successfully completing the emergency evacuation assessment.
Staff from the Kuai’an Fire Station conducted a specialized on-site briefing on fire safety, focusing on the unique characteristics of fires in industrial facilities. They provided detailed guidance on identifying and addressing hazards related to the use of fire and electricity, key points for reporting fires, and essential everyday fire‑prevention practices, while also displaying various firefighting tools and equipment to clearly illustrate their functions and appropriate applications. During the hands‑on portion, participating employees took turns practicing with dry‑powder fire extinguishers, following the proper sequence of lifting, pulling, gripping, and pressing to aim at the fire source and successfully put out the simulated blaze, thereby gaining practical proficiency in using such equipment. In response to the emergency scenario of people trapped in an elevator, the drill simultaneously simulated the troubleshooting process, covering self‑rescue by those trapped, maintenance procedures, and the full rescue operation once emergency responders arrive, thus addressing critical gaps in emergency response for special‑purpose equipment.
This immersive fire‑fighting drill enabled employees of Aotai Automation to move beyond theoretical learning and gain hands‑on proficiency in escape procedures, fire suppression, and emergency response involving specialized equipment. Taking this exercise as an opportunity, the company has institutionalized internal fire‑safety self‑inspections and small‑scale practical training, embedding fire‑safety principles into daily production management and strengthening the foundation of workplace safety.
