◆Measurement principle The product utilizes an underwater ADV ultrasonic Doppler flowmeter/current meter as the sensor for measuring flow velocity, flow rate, and water level. Measurement Principle In water bodies with a surface width of less than 200 meters, the direct ultrasonic wave demonstrates high effectiveness during transmission. Based on this principle, a set of underwater sonar sensors can be i nstalled on both the left and right banks of the river at approximately 45-degree angles to receive direct ult rasonic wave signals whose speed is influenced by water flow—this constitutes the time-difference flow me asurement method. Here, the arrival time difference of the direct waves is directly proportional to the flow v elocity of the water layer along the direct acoustic path between the sensors. Unlike traditional time-differe nce methods, this approach employs self-organizing wireless data links for communication between the lef t and right banks, with dual units synchronized via satellite timing. Moreover, the installation in the river ch annel does not impede navigation, offering an efficient and convenient solution for river flow monitoring.
