A method for observing the flow of dry river channels

In the monitoring of river flow represented by mountainous rivers, there are some characteristics as follows:

When the water level is low, the flow rate is small or even interrupted. In this case, it is more reliable to use a (smaller) measuring weir;

When using ADV acoustic Doppler flow velocity sensors to measure flow in medium and high water conditions, one or more sensors can be installed and calculated according to a certain algorithm;

Main features of the equipment:

Host: can autonomously select sensor signals based on actual water level and intelligently determine data sources through algorithms;

Construction: Simple, only minor modifications to the terrain of the river are needed, and the installation of related equipment is simple;

Power Supply: Solar powered system, maintenance free, using 4G wireless transmission method.

Through the method of composite sensor, the disadvantages of different sensors can be well solved, and the advantages can be exploited to avoid disadvantages. The approach of using a sensor that covers the whole world and is universal is not very feasible. Integrating the advantages of different measurement technologies into a set of flow measurement devices is currently a more feasible technical means.

The dedicated host can cooperate well with the data obtained by different sensors, and then obtain the desired data according to the relevant algorithm.

This device can measure data such as water level elevation, overflow area, real-time flow rate, real-time flow rate, smooth flow rate, smooth flow rate, water temperature, etc. The usual data refresh time is 1 second. The interval for wireless data upload can be defined as 5 seconds to 1 hour.

After the short message device of the Beidou satellite is completed, data transmission can still be carried out without relying on the public network.
