Tailored Solutions for Diverse Scenarios | Fujian Aotai’s AOGP10 Series Road Water-Level Sensor Deployed in Northern Cities
2026-04-30
In mid-April 2026, Fujian Aotai Automation Equipment Co., Ltd. successfully completed the deployment of a road-waterlogging monitoring project in a northern city. All units of the AOGP10 series side-mounted road-waterlogging sensors were installed and commissioned, effectively enhancing the region’s capabilities for dynamic road-waterlogging monitoring and urban flooding early warning, thereby providing robust data support for municipal flood-control and drainage operations as well as road safety management.

This device is equipped with a tripartite composite measurement technology that integrates hydrostatic pressure sensing, ultrasonic sensing, and six-channel conductivity measurement. The three sensor arrays work in concert to complement one another, effectively compensating for atmospheric pressure fluctuations and thereby enhancing measurement accuracy and environmental adaptability. The core unit features a fully potting encapsulation process, achieving an IP68 high-protection rating, while a 2-mm-thick steel enclosure provides robust impact resistance and corrosion protection, ensuring long-term performance under harsh outdoor conditions and delivering exceptional durability.

To meet the project’s requirements for urban aesthetics and traffic safety, a semi-concealed curbstone installation was adopted on site. Technical personnel customized and fine-tuned the system to remotely disable the ultrasonic function and switch to a dual-module operating mode that combines hydrostatic pressure sensing with electrical conductivity measurement, thereby perfectly adapting to the specific installation conditions. Under normal operating conditions, the three sensor arrays continue to run in synchronous mode, enabling full-range, high-precision monitoring.

The device is equipped with a high-capacity 76 Ah battery, enabling standalone operation without the need for external wiring. Paired with wireless RF transmission technology, it offers strong signal penetration and effectively prevents signal interruptions caused by water accumulation. The accompanying signal concentrator supports dual power supply modes, aggregates data from field devices, and performs protocol conversion, thereby enabling centralized management of regional water-accumulation data and remote real-time monitoring.
The complete solution features rapid deployment and low operational and maintenance costs, supports remote parameter adjustment and on-demand function switching, exhibits exceptional adaptability to diverse scenarios, provides timely alerts for potential water-logging risks, and helps advance urban drainage management toward digitalization, precision, and intelligent operation.
