    Not affected by pressure changes, vacuum, temperature changes, inert gases, smoke, steam and other environmental factors

     

    Easy to install, sturdy and durable, maintenance free

     

    HART communication protocol and Foundation fieldbus protocol, easy calibration, and convenient on-site calibration operation through digital LCD display. Simple configuration settings and programming are achieved through software AOPF

     

    Sensitive measurement and fast refresh rate.

     

    Suitable for high temperature conditions, with a process temperature of up to 200 ℃, and can reach 350 ℃ when using a high-temperature extension antenna.

     

    2、 Application medium:

     

    The AOUL60 series radar level gauge is suitable for non-contact continuous measurement of the level of liquids, slurries, and particulate materials, and is suitable for large temperature and pressure changes; In situations where inert gases and volatiles are present.

     

    The measurement method adopts microwave pulses and can operate normally within the industrial frequency range. The beam energy is low and can be installed in various metal and non-metal containers or pipelines, without causing harm to the human body and the environment.

     

    3、 Measurement principle

     

    Short microwave pulses with low emission energy are transmitted and received through an antenna system. Radar waves travel at the speed of light. The running time can be converted into level signals through electronic components. A special time extension method can ensure stable and effective measurements in a short period of time.

     

    Even in complex working conditions where false echoes exist, new microprocessing techniques and debugging software can accurately analyze the echoes of the material level.

    The antenna receives the reflected microwave pulse and transmits it to the electronic circuit. The microprocessor processes this signal and identifies the echo generated by the microwave pulse on the surface of the material. The correct recognition of echo signals is completed by intelligent software, with an accuracy of up to millimeter level. The distance D from the surface of the material is proportional to the time travel T of the pulse:

     

    D=C×T/2

     

    Where C is the speed of light

     

    Since the distance E of the empty tank is known, the level L is:

     

    L=E-D

    By inputting the empty tank height E (=zero), full tank height F (=full range), and some application parameters to set, the application parameters will automatically adapt the instrument to the measurement environment. Corresponding to 4-20mA output.

     

    Radar level gauge output calculation:

     

    At the factory, it defaults to height measurement mode

     

    For example: range of 50 meters, blind spot of 0.6 meters

     

    Then there are:

     

    When the material level is at 0 height, the meter displays 50 meters and outputs 4 milliamps

     

    When the material level is 49.4 meters, the meter displays 0.6 meters and outputs 20 milliamps

     

    Calculation formula for milliampere output:

     

    Factory default

     

    Milliampere output=20- (display value blind zone)/(range blind zone) * 16

     

    Header display=Range - Material height

     

    Example: Range of 30 meters, blind spot of 0.6 meters

     

    Then there are:

     

    When the material level is 10 meters high, the display shows 20 meters,

     

    Output 9.442mAh

     

    30-10=20

     

    20-(20-0.6)/(30-0.6)  *16=9.442

     

    When the material level is 20 meters, the display shows 10 meters,

     

    Output 14.884mAh

     

    30-20=10

     

    20-(10-0.6)/(30-0.6)  *16=14.884

     

    Example: Range of 30 meters, blind spot of 0.6 meters

     

    How can DCS or instruments be set up to display?

     

    4 milliamps correspond to a material height of 0 meters at position 0

     

    20mA corresponds to the material height of (range blind zone)

     

    30-0.6=29.6 meters

     

    The distance display is based on the installation reference point as a reference

     

    Milliampere output is based on blind spots as a reference

     

    This is the customary way in which radar differs from other products.

    Add dust-proof loudspeaker antenna

     

    The signal will weaken

     

    Compared to regular horn antennas

     

    The range needs to be reduced by 25%

    To solve the dust prevention problem, you can choose one with a blowing device

     

    Priority should be given to using the blowdown method if conditions permit on site, as this method will not weaken the signal.
