    Measurement principle

    The product utilizes the Doppler effect principle of underwater ultrasonic acoustics for measurement.
    The sensor emits continuous fixed-frequency ultrasonic signals into the water body directly ahead and re
    ceives the reflected waves from acoustic scatterers (such as microparticles, bubbles, impurities, etc.) moving
    with the water flow. The moving velocity is calculated based on the frequency deviation of the sound waves,
    and the water flow velocity is obtained after vector correction. Simultaneously, the pressure component at th
    e bottom of the sensor detects changes in water pressure, thereby acquiring water level signals. By combini
    ng preset channel (waterway, pipeline) dimension parameters, the wetted cross-sectional area can be derive
    d, ultimately yielding flow rate data. Additionally, an integrated conductivity sensor can be optionally included
    to enhance water quality parameter monitoring.

    *Note 1This option shall also be selected when the ADV is used in conjunction with the AOADV stainless steel barrel, except when the customer requires no manhole breather valve.
    *Note 2When using this product in a manhole, it is recommended to select the manhole breather valve assembly; however, the cable cannot be threaded through a pipe in this case, so please note this when selecting.
    *Note 3The length of the cable led out from the breather valve is 0.5 meters, and self-extending of the cable is not supported.
    *Note 4When the ADV is equipped with a portable handheld terminal, it must be equipped with the manhole breather valve assembly + aviation connector.
