Recently, Fujian Aotai’s ultrasonic wireless water-level telemetry device was successfully installed and commissioned in urban manholes in Zhuhai, Guangdong Province. The device employs a rapid deployment method—“well-wall expansion screws + hanging hooks”—which reduces construction costs and enables precise measurement of water levels. It is well-suited for various municipal projects, including smart cities and sponge cities, thereby empowering intelligent drainage management.
Underground water level monitoring can capture real-time dynamics of the pipeline network, aiding in fault diagnosis and flood warning, and enhancing the precision of municipal management. This device employs a non-contact measurement mode, avoiding interference from water quality and debris. Coupled with unique wave-control technology and an optimized angle design, it ensures stable measurements. It features a built-in AUTEC ultrasonic module that supports independent setting of multi-band parameters, boasts IP68 protection, and comes with a stainless steel housing, making it well-suited for the challenging environments of manholes.
Outstanding endurance and transmission performance: The 133 Ah battery, combined with low-power technology, enables a battery life of up to 7 years when data is transmitted every 5 minutes. A dedicated 4G private network ensures real-time data upload. With excellent core specifications—such as a 40 kHz transducer, a 0.015-meter measurement dead zone, and a 0.001-meter water level resolution—this system provides precise and reliable technical support for Zhuhai’s municipal drainage system, using the Pearl River elevation as the reference benchmark.
