Since its mass deployment in 2024, Fujian Aotai’s automated underground road‑surface water‑level sensor has been operating reliably at key flood‑control locations in Beijing, including low‑lying road sections and underpasses. Having withstood multiple rounds of rainy seasons and the alternating temperature fluctuations of all four seasons, the equipment has maintained excellent overall performance and stable functionality, fully demonstrating the product’s advantages of ultra‑low power consumption and high reliability.
According to reports, this batch of underground water‑logging monitoring devices, which have been in operation for more than two years, has undergone continuous, round‑the‑clock online monitoring. On-site measurements show that the remaining battery capacity remains above 90%, eliminating the need for frequent recharging or battery replacements. Their exceptionally long battery life significantly reduces municipal maintenance labor and material costs. The devices feature a deeply buried, concealed installation that does not impede traffic or detract from the urban landscape, while their IP68‑rated, fully sealed design provides robust protection against vehicle碾压 and prolonged submersion in standing water.
Leveraging high-precision sensing and robust wireless transmission technologies, the device continuously and accurately reports road‑surface water‑accumulation dynamics, enabling real-time monitoring of potential flooding risks and remote data upload.
