    Product Description

    The head loss controller, abbreviated as head loss meter, is specifically designed for detecting filter tanks in water supply and sewage treatment systems. It can measure the liquid level difference and head loss between two points, enabling remote data transmission. 

    The head loss controller consists of a head transmitter and a display instrument (for instrument operation details, refer to the AOB instrument manual). Its key feature lies in the head transmitter, which is composed of the transmitter body, a pool surface liquid level sensor, and a filtered water head sensor. The pool surface liquid level sensor is connected to the transmitter circuit board inside the transmitter housing via a cable. The filtered water head sensor can either be fixedly integrated with the transmitter body or connected separately via a cable. 
    The device boasts a compact structure, rational design, simple installation, and accurate detection. It allows flexible selection of installation positions without the need for drilling holes in the filter tank walls, making it suitable for monitoring head loss in various types of filter tanks. 
     
    The head loss meter is calibrated to full scale based on the specific gravity of the measured medium provided by the user, calculated through dry calibration. Since calibration conditions and operating conditions can hardly be completely identical, the full-scale indication may exhibit varying degrees of deviation. Therefore, after installation, the full scale should be recalibrated. If on-site installation conditions prevent the medium liquid level from reaching the maximum value during calibration, the corresponding output current value can be calculated using the following formula based on the actual liquid level, and the full-scale potentiometer of the meter should be adjusted to achieve the required output value. 

    Where:   
    • ( I_n )-Output current value (unit: mA) that the transmitter should produce when the liquid level is at point n 
    • ( h_n )-Liquid level height at point n (unit: m) 
    • ( h_{\text{max}} )-Maximum liquid level height of the measured medium (i.e., full scale, unit: m) 
    To improve calibration accuracy, refer to the calibration records from the transmitter's factory settings during correction and make appropriate adjustments accordingly.
