The Fujian Aotai ADCP ultrasonic Doppler current profiler has completed its accuracy testing in Shandong.

In February 2026, the ADCP ultrasonic Doppler current profiler—self-developed and manufactured by Fujian Aotai Automation Equipment Co., Ltd.—underwent product accuracy testing at a hydrological testing institution in Shandong Province.
This test employs the standard flume-moving-cart method: the instrument is fixed onto a flume-moving cart, and the cart’s uniform running speed is used as the standard flow rate. By comparing the instrument’s measured flow rate with the standard flow rate, we rigorously verify the product’s measurement accuracy.

The instrument utilizes the Doppler frequency shift effect of ultrasound, emitting and receiving ultrasonic signals in two beams—one directed upstream and the other downstream—thus calculating the flow velocities of each layer in the water body and achieving high-precision profile measurements.

This product supports either 12V or external 24V DC power supply and features RS485 communication output. Its profile measurement capability enables layered analysis with up to 256 layers. In addition to being equipped with a dual-beam profile flow velocity Doppler ultrasonic transducer, the sensor also incorporates a static-pressure-type water level sensor and a conductivity sensor, allowing for simultaneous, integrated monitoring of multiple parameters including flow velocity, water level, and conductivity.
Field tests have shown that the equipment operates stably and provides reliable data. All technical indicators meet the requirements of relevant standards, fully demonstrating the high precision and comprehensive monitoring capabilities of Aote ADCP in the field of hydrological and water resource monitoring.
