Leaders from the Changsha Hydrological Bureau in Hunan Province inspect the installation site of the acoustic tomography cross-section flowmeter!

Recently, a delegation from the Changsha Hydrological Bureau in Hunan Province visited a certain waterway to conduct an on-site inspection of the installation site for the acoustic tomography cross-sectional flowmeter manufactured by Fujian Aotai Automation Co., Ltd. They gained a detailed understanding of the equipment’s operational status and assessed the progress made in advancing the intelligent upgrading of hydrological monitoring systems. Technical representatives from Aotai Company and project construction personnel accompanied the inspection team.
During the inspection, the delegation of leaders carefully examined the equipment installation layout and operational status, and listened attentively to the technical team’s briefing on the equipment. According to the introduction, this acoustic tomography cross-section flowmeter boasts outstanding core parameters: it is equipped with multiple 200 kHz ultrasonic transducers, covers a measurement cross-section width ranging from 5 to 100 meters, has a flow velocity measurement range of 0.01 to 5 m/s, and offers a measurement accuracy better than ±1.5%. It employs a non-contact measurement principle and comes with an IP68-rated protective enclosure, enabling it to withstand the effects of water impurities, turbulent flows, and harsh weather conditions.
The device is compatible with a dual-power supply mode featuring both solar energy and batteries, offering an endurance of over five years. Data is transmitted via a dual-mode system—4G+Beidou—to the hydrological monitoring platform, enabling real-time traceability of flow data. Leaders expressed their approval of the device’s operational stability, monitoring accuracy, and adaptability, emphasizing the need to fully leverage Aotai’s advanced intelligent equipment technology, continuously enhance hydrological monitoring capabilities, and lay a solid technological foundation for water resource management and water security assurance in the Changsha river basin.
