Aotai Automation Chengdu conducts maintenance and testing of road water accumulation products, strengthening the monitoring defense system for the flood season!

In December 2025, Fujian Aotai Automation Equipment Co., Ltd. will carry out routine maintenance on its road-water-level monitoring products in Chengdu. The maintenance will focus on comprehensively testing the core functions and communication-link stability of the underground road-water-level sensors by simulating realistic water-accumulation scenarios, ensuring that the equipment can perform accurate and efficient monitoring during the flood season.
The core parameters of the underground road water level sensor used in this test are outstanding: its measurement range covers 0–3 meters, with a water-level resolution as high as 0.001 meter and a measurement accuracy of ±0.8% full scale. It features an integrated sealed structure and an IP68-rated protection design, enabling it to withstand prolonged immersion in water and erosion from mud and sand. Equipped with a low-power chip, the sensor can operate for up to 7 years under a data transmission mode that collects and transmits readings every 5 minutes. It supports 4G wireless transmission, with data upload latency below 30 seconds.
This product is widely used in scenarios such as Chengdu’s main urban thoroughfares, low-lying areas prone to flooding, and old urban districts. It can be installed underground without damaging the road surface. During this test, by simulating different water accumulation depths, we verified the accuracy of the device’s data collection and the reliability of its communication links, thereby ensuring stable operation of the equipment going forward. This will help Chengdu enhance its monitoring and early-warning capabilities for urban flooding during the rainy season and further improve the precision of municipal drainage management.
